Since I was young I was dead set on joining the army when I was older. It was not something I wanted to do but something I felt I should do. Then as I was preparing to enrol I lost my sister to suicide and then went through a difficult and unhealthy romantic relationship. This led to all the previous trauma that I had locked away and thought was in the past to start to flare up. I would feel so much that I would vomit. When you feel so debilitated physically, mentally and even spiritually it is difficult to find a point in living and I came close to taking my own life. At first this was the most bitter, painful, soul tearing experience I have ever had. Now it has become a deep well of gratitude for me. Due to the pain, the trauma, the excruciating relationship I did not enrol in the army and through pure chance or synchronicity I stumbled upon Hypnotherapy and Regression Therapy.

My first experience of this therapy was personally revolutionary. We were clearing within 1 to 2 sessions what my psychotherapist would clear with me in a year. When I found out that they had a spot open to enrol for the Foundation Hypnotherapy course I went for it and have only looked forward ever since.

I now live a life full of joy, peace, laughter and tenderness. I am able to look at trees, at the sky and marvel with delight. I am able to crush workouts with enthusiasm. To do more in a day than I would have done in a month when I was 18. To pleasantly and mindfully exhaust myself through the day. To sleep deeply. To wake up easily. To find courage to meet challenges. To grieve lightheartedly and vulnerably. To get to discover more of myself every single day. I have been through the darkness, through severe clinical depression and anxiety. I have made it into the light and it is my life’s greatest joy to help others do the same.
